    Lauchlan,

I just came across your blog and I like it – you have a great title! I especially like your quote from Graeme Wood that was posted earlier in the week. I'm going to use it and talk about its significance in my post for today – I'll make sure your get the proper credit. Keep up the good work.

    Hi Lauchlan,
I left a "message" at the KM Standards blog and wanting to see how long it will take too long for someone to notice. The inactiveness of that blog is probably due to the lack of the abilitiy to subscribe.

By the way – I'm volunteering for the Foresight working group. I'm looking forward to what's on and how can I contribute.

Absolutely fantastic insights, opinions and thought leadership on these topics.

It's tagged in my Favorites now and I'll be looking forward to reading more.

Lauchlan, thanks for your comments supporting the Michael Porter Five Forces Model. I am leading an effort that has described to date over 9,000 industries covering approximately 92% of the global economy, and I can report that the Five Forces are alive for each and every one!

    Cheers, Alan Michaels

A few comments about the TWI and MTP materials mentioned… Deming came AFTER these programs had been introduced into Japan at the request of the men running the CCS management training program, not to be confused with the MTP program first relased by the Air Force. Additional research has discovered that the MTP group did have knowledge of the TWI programs and the CCS program, as these are the basis, more accurately the MTP is a summary of both of these, not original work as previously thought.
please contact if you would like more background on this research – mswarren@mindspring.com
